Sales Estimator

If you are looking for a new challenge with a market leader who designs and manufactures granite, quartz and porcelain worktops for some of the biggest housebuilders in the UK, Athena Worksurfaces LTD is the one for you.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as Estimator. The successful applicant for this Estimator role will play a key role within the business and be responsible for all commercial and retail quotations.

The role of the Sales Estimator will involve:

Liaising with main contractors, house builders and developers for new build and commercial projects
Taking enquiries from clients over the phone and email
Analyse drawings and specifications to gain a full understanding of projects
Writing up quotes on the back of enquiries and talking through the quote with the client
Build and develop relationships with clients throughout the process to encourage repeat business
Dealing with projects ranging in value from £2,000k onwards

The ideal applicant will be a Sales Estimator with:

Kitchen design background
Understanding kitchen planning/design
Able to work accurately and to tight deadlines
Need to be a team player
A can-do attitude

Answer and direct phone calls promptly with excellent phone etiquette
Assist in organising and scheduling appointments/booking rooms
Perform clerical duties such as data entry, typing, and maintaining records
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and emails efficiently
Support administrative tasks as needed

Athena Worksurface Fabrications is a work surface fabricator based in Worcestershire. Historically we have specialised in templating and installation and, for the last 10 years, we have built the largest template and installation company in the UK, servicing some of the biggest retailers and residential developers nationwide.

Due to the growth, we are now looking to recruit a Factory Operative to join the team.

The Ideal factory operative will:

Help and support other factory operatives as and when required
Monitoring the operational process to maintain product quality and meet specifications.
Conduct regular inspection and measurements to verify that the part meets the required standards
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy during machining tasks and quality inspections.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a yard operative.

As a Yard Operative, you will be required to:

Work in a fast-paced environment
Work with the Stock Manager to ensure the yard is kept clean and tidy
Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries
Managing the inventory and off cuts
Work within a team of factory operatives to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and always comply with company and legislative standards.
